AS Preliminary Task

Evaluation
The short extract of a possible film is used to show a arthouse feel towards the film. This is apparent due to the rigid scenes made possible by the handheld camera. This scene starts with the camera focusing on the main character who is taking photos. The use of a long shot and an establishing shot allows the scene to be identified and suits the audience's needs. There is a visible straight cut which changes angles to introduce a new character. This is used to identify the new character who is being introduced. The extract continues to be played out in a raw viewing which suits the overall film look. There were many predicaments while shooting this film (mainly to do with sound). We used the extension cord to process the sound and makes it become clearer. Also, while in post-production, the actors and setting starts to change especially when I tried to add match on action. Overall, the film had no major problems with the scenes looking neat.
